Cold weather is less of a risk to lyophilised peptides than heat, but winter shipping has its own problems.
Is freezing a problem?
A dry, freeze-dried powder is not harmed by sub-zero temperatures. The main winter risks are delays from storms and parcels left outside, and condensation forming when a cold vial is opened in a warm room.
What we do
- Every order ships tracked, in insulated packaging.
- Orders placed before 10 a.m. PT (1 p.m. ET) on business days ship the same day. Orders after the cutoff ship the next business day. There is no weekend dispatch, so parcels are not held over weekends at carrier depots.
- Every order ships FedEx 2Day, cold-packed, with delivery expected by 5 p.m. on the scheduled delivery date.
- In severe weather we may hold a shipment until carrier routes clear. We will tell you if we do.
When your parcel arrives
Bring it indoors promptly. Let the sealed vials reach room temperature before opening, so condensation does not form inside. Then store them as described in Storage and handling.
If something is wrong
We ship within the United States only. If a parcel arrives damaged, or the wrong item arrives, follow the claims process within 7 days of delivery.
